Slushy roads cause a spree of crashes.

mcso_cruiser_k9LUDINGTON — Deputies from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office responded to nine car crashes Monday, Dec. 8, on slushy roads.

– 11:02 a.m., a 56-year-old Pentwater woman received minor injuries after her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, Kinney and Walhalla, Logan Twp.

– 11:20 a.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, US-31 Freeway near Pere Marquette Hwy., Pere Marquette Twp.

– 2:58 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Angling and Beaune, Hamlin Twp.

– 3:36 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Lincoln south of Dewey, Hamlin Twp.

– 3:41 p.m., one-vehicle crash, with injuries, vehicle left the road and struck a tree, Gordon Rd. north of Hansen Rd., Amber Twp.

– 4:15 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, US-31 Freeway at the Pere Marquette Hwy. exit, Pere Marquette Twp.

– 4:16 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Lincoln and Dewey, Hamlin Twp.

– 4:46 p.m., two-vehicle broadside crash, minor injury, Pere Marquette Hwy. and Chauvez, Pere Marquette Twp.

– 5:30 p.m., car-deer crash, no injury, Lakeshore and Abrahamson, Hamlin Twp.
