LUDINGTON — For the past 28 years, volunteers at Emmanuel Lutheran Church have served dinner to the community on Thanksgiving. All are welcome to the free meal. Many are alone, others don’t have large families at home. The meal includes a full traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, green beans, desert and more. Over 400 people were expected to the dinner, eating 22 turkeys prepared by volunteers.
