Woman arrested on outstanding warrant.

springstead_carter_1PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — Deputies from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 44-year-old woman on a warrant arrest Tuesday following a traffic stop at 12:03 p.m. at U.S. 10 west of Nelson Rd. The woman’s town of origin was unknown, according to a report from Sheriff Kim Cole. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Hastings Police Dept. The original charge was failure to appear for a driving while license suspended charge.

Other activity of the sheriff’s office for Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 included:

  • 5:30 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Brye Rd., Amber Twp.
  • 6:15 a.m.: One vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, Stiles and Beyer roads, Victory Twp.
  • 8:38 a.m.: An 18-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving without a license following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and Pere Marquette Hwy., Pere Marquette Twp.
  • 8:53 a.m.: A 30-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a probation violation in the 1400 block of Betty St., P.M. Twp.
  • 6:04 p.m.: Gas drive off of $54.59, Airport Shell, 5400 block of West U.S. 10, P.M. Twp.
  • 6:55 p.m.: One vehicle vs. tree crash, no injuries, Gordon and Fisher roads, Victory Twp.
  • 11:43 p.m.: Vehicle in ditch, Lincoln and Jagger roads, Hamlin Twp. No damage/injuries.
