Car/deer crashes increasing in volume.

With the exception of a gas drive off, deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office spent most of their time Wednesday handling car/deer crashes. The following is the activity of the sheriff’s office for October 22, 2014:

  • 2:35 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Sippy and Custer roads, Eden Twp.
  • 5:34 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Custer and Millerton roads, Sherman Twp.
  • 4:21 p.m.: Gas drive off of $10.03, Wesco, 5600 block of West U.S. 10, Pere Marquette Twp.
  • Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and Meisenheimer Road overpass, Summit Twp.
  • Car/deer crash, no injuries, Lakeshore Dr. and Jagger Rd., Hamlin Twp.
  • Car/deer crash, no injuries, Meyers Rd. and Sixth St., P.M. Twp.springstead_carter_1
