79th District Court arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District magistrate:

Felonies

– Gene Robert Foster, 40, of 106 E. Pere Marquette, Ludington, was arrested Aug. 2 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, second offense. A preconference is set for Aug. 11 at 10 a.m., and a preliminary exam is set for Aug. 13 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Benjamin Glenn Spore, 53, of 1297 Esther St., Scottville, was arrested Aug. 4 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of malicious destruction of property (MDOP) under $200. A preconference is set for Aug. 11 at 10 a.m., and a preliminary exam is set for Aug. 13 at 11:15 .m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

Misdemeanors

– Deandre Dequan Shepherd, 20, of 1521 Roosevelt, Baldwin, was arrested July 27 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) for a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended (DWLS). A pretrial is set for Aug. 25 at 11:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

– Rigel Jeffery Bowden, 22, of 607 N. Delia St., Ludington, was arrested July 31 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Aug. 25 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Daniel Joseph Szczesny, 22, of 1019 Frederick Ave., NW, Grand Rapids, was arrested July 26 by the Michigan State Police, Hart post (MSP-H) for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Aug. 13 at 11:15 .m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Leigh McWilliams, 31, of 1777 W. First St., Scottville, was arrested Aug. 1 by the State, Sheriffs, Chiefs Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Sept. 8 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Robert David Moran, 44, of 2663 Blair Ave., New Era, was arrested Aug. 1 by LPD for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Sept. 8 at 9 .m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– David James Thiel, 52, of 3662 White Trillium Dr., E, Saginaw, was arrested Aug. 3 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC). A pretrial is set for Sept. 8 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety.

– Shawn William Paul, 44, of 1310 N. Rath Ave., Ludington, was arrested Aug. 1 MCSO for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for Aug. 25 a t 2:15 p.m. No bail info listed.

– Gregory Alexander Jolly, 21, of 3680 E. First St., Custer, was arrested Aug. 1 by LPD for a misdemeanor of OWI, second offense. A pretrial is set for Sept. 8 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Catherine Anne O’Brien, 57, of 1665 S. Scottville Rd., Scottville, was arrested Aug. 1 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for Aug. 25 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Robert Thomas Ray, 23, of 207 E. Danaher St., Apt. 1, Ludington, was arrested Aug. 2 by LPD for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Aug. 18 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Mandy Sherrie Roper, 29, of 3872 S. Tuttle Rd., Custer, was arrested Aug. 2 by LPD for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Sept. 15 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Scott Douglas Koles, 44, of 324 N. Northwood Dr., Branch, was arrested Aug. 5 by MSP for misdemeanors of OWI and firearms possession under the influence. A pretrial is set for Aug. 25 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.
