Custer man arrested for parole violation

LUDINGTON – Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 58-year-old Custer man Tuesday afternoon on the charge of probation/parole violation from the City of Ludington. The man was arrested on an oustanding warrant out of Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia.

Other activity of the MCSO for July 1, 2014 included:

– 9:08 a.m.: Alarm activation, 8900 block of East Young Rd., Branch Twp.

– 3:04 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 expressway and Chauvez Road overpass, Pere Marquette Twp.

  • 4:35 p.m.: Two vehicle broadside crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 east of Nelson Rd., P.M. twp.
  • – 5:08 p.m.: Larceny of boat gas and can, 5300 block of North Benson Rd., Sheridan Twp.
  • 5:09 p.m.: Attempted breaking and entering, 9500 block of East Decker Rd., Sheridan Twp.
