Woman injured following bypass crash

us10_bypass_us31_crashAMBER TWP. — A woman was injured after the vehicle she was riding in was struck near the intersection of U.S. 10 and U.S. 31 just outside the Scottville city limits. The woman was riding in a Pontiac Vibe that turned east onto U.S. 10 from U.S. 31 when it pulled into the path of a westbound Toyota driven by a 65-year-old Riverton Township woman. The driver and three passengers of the Pontiac were from out of the area.

The injured woman was transported by Life EMS ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Scottville Fire Department, Mason County Sheriff’s Office and Scottville Police Department also responded to the scene.
