Two arrested for domestic assaults

SHERIDAN TWP. — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 27-year-old Fountain man Thursday night for domestic assault. The assault took place at in the 1800 block of North Benson Road. Deputies were called at 10:45 p.m. to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital in reference to the assault.

Deputies also arrested a 21-year-old Ludington man for domestic assault at Hamlin Lake Estates. The incident took place at 10:07 p.m.

Other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for June 19, 2014 included:

– 1:08 a.m.: A 32-year-old Hart man was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant from Newaygo County following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and U.S. 31 bypass, Amber Twp.

– 5:18 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Morton and Washington roads, Riverton Twp.

– 5:23 p.m.: A 35-year-old Hart woman was arrested for retail fraud and a 34-year-old Hart man was arrested on an outstanding Oceana County probation/parole warrant, following an investigation. The incident took place at Wal-Mart, U.S. 10 and Meyers Rd., Pere Marquette Twp.

– 7:46 p.m.: Larceny of snow blower, 1500 block of East U.S. 10, Custer Twp.

– 10: 29 p.m.: Alarm activation, 4400 block of West U.S. 10, Amber Twp.
