Murder accomplice, shoplifter, weapons violator among circuit court sentences

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

tammi_spofford_trooper_butterfield_sentencing– Tammi Lynne Spofford, 50, of 8124 8 Mile Rd., Irons, pleaded no contest May 6 to accessory after the fact. She was sentenced June 17 to a minimum of one year and six months to a maximum of five years with the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) with credit for 26 days served in jail;; $1,749.33 in restitution; and $198 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful driving away of motor vehicle was dismissed.

– Matthew Allan Sharp, 29, of 136 N. Elm St., Hesperia, was found guilty April 15 of first-degree retail fraud and habitual offender, fourth conviction. He was sentenced June 17 to one year and six months to a maximum of five years with MDOC with credit for 127 days served in jail and $198 in fines and costs. One count of conspiracy to commit to first-degree retail fraud was dismissed.

– Jonathon Ervin Anderson, 17, of 6225 S. Brye Rd., Ludington, was found guilty March 7 of dangerous weapons, miscellaneous and probation violation. One count of malicious destruction of property (MDOP) less than $200 was dismissed. He was sentenced June 11 to one year in jail with credit for 69 days served; serve six months up front, balance to be served at the court’s discretion; and $609 in fines, costs and restitution.
