Deputies arrest 75-year-old for domestic violence

HAMLIN TWP. — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 75-year-old man Tuesday on the charge of domestic violence. The alleged incident took place in the 4600 block of West Decker Road at 10:22 p.m.

Deputies also arrested a 46-year-old Scottville man on two friend of the court warrants from Grand Traverse County. The man was arrested at Thornwild Apartments in the City of Scottville at 8:07 p.m.

Other activity of the MCSO for Tuesday, May 13, 2014 included:

• 2:56 a.m.: Intoxicated subject, 5900 block of West U.S. 10, Pere Marquette Twp. Subject was transported home.
• 7:10 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Darr and Hoague roads, Free Soil Twp.
• 7:51 p.m.: Alarm activation, 2900 block of North Cleveland St., Village of Fountain.
• 2:14 p.m.: Two-vehicle crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 north of Decker Rd., Sherman Twp. See related story here.
