Weekend arrests include domestic violence, drug and alcohol, driving violations

mcso_patrol_carWeekend arrests of by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office included domestic assault, drug and alcohol violations, license suspensions and outstanding warrants. Below is the activity report of the sheriff’s office from April 25 to April 27, 2014:

April 25: 

– 7:30 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Stephens Rd., Custer Twp.

  • 12:09 p.m.: A 39-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault, 1000 block of Lancer Lane, Pere Marquette Twp.
  • 8:54 p.m.: A 41-year-old Fountain man was cited for no operators license, never applied, following a traffic stop at Sherman and Tallman Lake roads, Sheridan Twp.
  • 9:27 p.m.: A 28-year-old Branch man was arrested for open intoxications following a traffic stop at Campbell and Stolberg roads, Sheridan Twp.
  • 11:46 p.m.: Alarm activation, 9100 block of N. U.S. 31, Grant Twp.

April 26: 

  • 3:41 a.m.: A 25-year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving while license suspended fifth offense, following a traffic stop at Custer and Hansen roads, Custer Twp.
  • 7:45 a.m.: Malicious destruction of property, 4800 block of North Benson Rd., Sheridan Twp.
  • 6:28 p.m.: An 18-year-old Ludington man was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on U.S. 10 west of Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Twp.
  • 8:14 p.m.: An 18-year-old Ludington woman and a 25-year-old Branch man were both arrested on outstanding warrants from Oceana County following a traffic stop at Reek and Sugar Grove roads, Sherman Twp.
  • 7:19 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Walhalla and Borothy roads, Logan Twp.

April 27: 

  • 6:37 p.m.: Suspicious situation, section 2 of Logan Twp. Caller thought a cabin had been broken into. Unfounded.
  • 7 p.m.: Suspicious situation, 700 block of East Hoague Rd., Free Soil Twp. Deputies, fire and EMS were dispatched to an “unknown emergency” call. Unfounded.
