79th District Court arraignments, as of April 2, 2014

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned this past week in front of the Mason County Magistrate in 79th District Court.

Felonies

–          James Ellis Page, 57, of 601 N. Rowe St., Ludington, was arrested March 31 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for felonies of armed robbery, first-degree retail fraud and third-offense habitual offender. A preliminary exam is set for April 9 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $25,000/cash/surety.

–          Denise Lynn Comstock, 40, of 510 N. Main St., Scottville, was arrested March 28 for a felony of controlled substance delivery. A preliminary exam is set for April 9 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Paul Gerbers

Paul Gerbers

–          Paul Jason Gerbers, 39, of 510 N. Main St., Scottville, was arrested March 28 by the State, Sheriffs, Chiefs Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for felonies of controlled substance delivery/manufacture; felony firearm; and habitual offender, second conviction. A preliminary exam is set for April 9at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

–          Joshua Joseph May, 38, of 1916 Lakeshore Rd., Manistee, was arrested Aug. 9 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of failure to return rented property. A pretrial is set for April 14 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

–          Brandi Kai Cressell, 22, of 1755 Marilyn Dr., Ludington, was arrested March 28 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for April 28 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

 

–          Brittany Leigh Hernandez, 24, of 405 E. Resseguie St., Ludington, was arrested March 24 by SSCENT for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for April 14 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.
