79th District Court sentences, as of March 5, 2014

LUDINGTON – The following defendants were sentenced this past week in 79th District Court:

                      Ryan Austin Moore, 24, of 3353 Wayburn Ave., SW, Grandville, was found guilty March 5 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs.

                      Dana Richard Orourke, 48, of 7962 River Rd., Marine City, Mich., was found guilty March 4 of disorderly person – urinating in public and sentenced to $285 in fines and costs.

                      Jonathon Ervin Anderson, 17, of 6225 S. Brye Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 28 of under 21 – purchase, consume and/or possess and sentenced to $265 in fines and costs; six months probation; no alcohol/drugs; 15 hours of community service; and must attend Victims’ Impact Panel. Conviction reportable to SOS.

                      Salene Rozell Martinsen, 42, of 307 E. Filer St., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 27 of disorderly person and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $285 in fines and costs.

                      Joseph James Taibl, 23, of 1131 N. Washington Ave., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 24 of failure to display a valid license. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

                      Torry Deon-Dre Pinkley, II, 24, of 550 Cass Ave., SE, Grand Rapids, was found guiltyJan. 28 of DWLS and sentenced to $355 in fines and cost. Conviction reportable to SOS.

                      Christopher Lloyd Rosenow, 35, of 451 W. Free Soil Rd., Free Soil, was found guilty Feb. 25 of second-offense domestic violence. He was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; no contact with victim; no alcohol/drugs; $580 in fines and costs; and subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and random drug tests.

                      Joshua Dillon Wassenaar, 26, of 8914 W. Central Park Blvd., Baldwin, was found guilty Feb. 25 of third-degree retail fraud. He was sentenced to four days in jail with credit for four days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $580 in fines and costs.

                      Renee Pauline Lucas, 37, of 206 4th St., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 25 of malicious destruction of a building, less than $200. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; $630 in fines, costs and restitution; and must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations.

                      Annette Lynn Thompson, 42, of 501 ½ E. Filer St., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 25 of third-degree retail fraud. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; may be released from discretionary time after six months; and $7.98 in restitution.

                      Morgan Montana Svidron, 22, of 2932 Anthony Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty Feb. 25 of improper transfer of medical marijuana. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $580 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of open intoxicants in a vehicle/passenger was dismissed.

                      Jeromy Sam Magnuson, 37, of 7894 66th Ave., Pentwater, was found guilty Feb. 25 of failure to maintain security (no insurance) and sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year and $580 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of DWLS was dismissed.

                      Joshua Harold Holden, 25, of 5916 E. Fountain Rd., Fountain, was found guilty March 3 of failure to display a valid license. He was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for five days served; $275 in fines and costs; and 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to SOS.
