79th District Court arraignments, as of March 5, 2014

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned this past week in front of the Mason County magistrate in 79th District Court:

Felonies

Jeremy Franklin

–          Jeremy Michael Franklin, 27, of 307 S. Rowe St., Apt. 4, Ludington, was arrested Feb. 27 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of sex offender — failure to comply with reporting duties. A preliminary exam is set for March 12 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/personal.

Misdemeanors

–          Brian Wayne Larr, 31, of 2544 S. Custer Rd., Custer, was arrested March 1 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for misdemeanors of operating with a blood alcohol content and operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for April 7 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

–          Harlan Robert Cabana, 65, of 100 S. Wildwood Crossing, Apt. 13, Ludington, was arrested Feb. 28 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance – possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for March 17 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

–          Paula Joseph Desmet, 65, of 5902 Pleasant Ridge Rd., Ludington, was arrested Feb. 27 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for March 24 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

–          Daniel Robert Quinn, 54, of 6503 E. Sugar Grove Rd., Fountain, was arrested Feb. 27 by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for a misdemeanor of inland lakes/streams – no permit. A pretrial is set for March 17 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

–          Jason Paul Alltop, 36, of 4212 N. 120^th Ave., Hart, was arrested Feb. 27 by LPD for a misdemeanor of larceny less than $200. A pretrial is set for March 10 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

–          Paul Wayne Roberts, 39, of 6447 Linden St., Ludington, was arrested Feb. 26 by LPD for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for March 24 at 9:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
