Man arrested for road rage

mcso_logoPERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 43-year-old Chase man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday on the charge of road rage/reckless driving. The arrest occurred at 7:53 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. 10 and Pere Marquette Hwy. The man allegedly drove into another vehicle following a dispute on the roadway.

In a separate incident, deputies arrested a 25-year-old Ludington man on an outstanding warrant from Mason County for possession of marijuana. The arrest took place at 8:19 p.m. the 6800 block of West Decker Road in Hamlin Township.

The sheriff’s office also responded to a 4:45 p.m. single vehicle rollover crash near the intersection of U.S. 10-31 and Brye Rd. in Amber Township. There were no injuries.
