MCC forensics wins tourney

BIRCH RUN — The Mason County Central forensics team won the Birch Run tournament on Saturday besting International Academy by 34 points. MCC finished with a total of 326 points, International Academy scored 292 and Birch Run came in third place with 199 points. MCC was first over 27 teams competing.. The team qualified 22 out of 25 entries placed in semi-finals and 15 out of 21 in finals! The team improved on its overall standing by over 79 points from last year’s competition. The team will travel to North Branch on Saturday.
