3 sentenced in circuit court

LUDINGTON — The following defendants were sentenced in 51st Circuit Court this past week:

–       Mason Alan Salisbury, 24, of 8336 West St., Free Soil, was found guilty Dec. 3 of breaking and entering (B & E) of a building with intent and habitual offender, third conviction. He was sentenced Feb. 4 to one year in jail with credit for 91 days served; serve seven months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; $1,558 in fines, costs and restitution; and two years probation.
–       Neal Alexander Wroble, 25, of 21 W. Dewey Rd., Scottville, was found guilty Aug. 22, 2012 of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, failure to stop at accident and probation violation. He was sentenced Feb. 4 to two one-year jail terms with credit for 185 days served for each term; must serve 192 days forthwith and the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; must enroll in and successfully complete substance abuse treatment upon release from jail; and $998 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
–       Mario John Carter, 43, of 105 W. Filer St., Ludington, was found guilty June 12, 2012 of assault – weapon, third-offense domestic violence, habitual offender – third conviction, and probation violation. He was sentenced Feb. 4 to two prison terms of two years, 10 months to eight years. Remaining court assessments of $616 are to be collected through inmate accounting/parole process. Probation is revoked. One count of third-offense domestic violence and on count of assault – weapon were dismissed.
