Sheriff’s office keeps busy with crashes

mcso_logoThe Mason County Sheriff’s Office continues to respond to weather-related crashes. Tuesday was no exception. At 5:30 a.m. deputies responded to a single vehicle crash, with no injuries, at Johnson and Gordon roads in Amber Twp. At 7:12 a.m., deputies responded to a two vehicle crash, no injuries, at Brye and Anthony roads, Summit Twp.

Other activity of the MCSO for Feb. 4, 2014, included:

– 2:04 a.m.: Breaking and entering, Wal-Mart parking lot, U.S. 10, Pere Marquette Twp.

– 7:30 a.m.: Traffic assist at fire scene on South Pere Marquette Highway, PM Twp.

– 11:42 a.m.: Warrant requested for a complaint of late sex offender registration, City of Ludington.

– 7:08 p.m.: Retail fraud, Meijer, U.S. 10, Amber Twp, 18-year-old Ludington man arrested.

– 11:04 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Fountain Rd. and Victory Dr., Victory Twp.
