Bus driver harassed

mcso_logoAMBER TWP. — A Mason County Central bus driver was apparently harassed Tuesday night. A report from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office states that an unknown subject blocked the path of the bus near the intersection of Amber and Hansen roads around 7:34 p.m. The person apparently started yelling obscenities at the bus driver. Sheriff Kim Cole said he does not know if students were on the bus at the time. He said the situation is still being investigated. MCP has also left a message with Superintendent Jeff Mount.

– 7:25 a.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, Jebavy Dr. and Johnson Rd., Pere Marquette Twp.

– 7:33 a.m.: Slide off, no damage/no injuries. U.S. 31 expressway near rest area, Summit Twp.

– 11:45 a.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, Stiles Rd. and U.S. 10, Amber Twp.

– 3:19 p.m.: Two vehicle broadside crash, no injuries, Lunette and Ellis roads, PM Twp.

– 6:13 p.m.: Slide off, no damage/no injuries, Stiles and Sugar Grove roads, Victory Twp.

– 7:20 p.m.: Gas drive off of $5.01, 400 block of East U.S. 10, Custer Twp.
