3 sentenced in district court

LUDINGTON – The following defendants were sentenced this past week in 79th District Court:
–         Kyle Scott Janicki, 22, of 333 ½ River St., Apt. A, Manistee, was found guilty Jan. 6 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and sentenced to $285 in fines and costs and 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). 
–         Chad Jason Miller, 43, of 404 N. Rath Ave., Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 7 of controlled substance – possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $580 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for two years; and driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted 150 days.
–         Pasha Janel Ruggles, 35, of 694 E. Thistle Rd., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 7 of retail fraud, second degree. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; and $740 in fines and costs.
