Winter storm and wind chill warnings until 7 p.m.

superior electric 250Mason County and surrounding areas remain under a winter storm warning, which has been extended until 7 p.m. tonight. A wind chill warning also remains in effect until 7 p.m. Dangerously cold wind chill values may drop as low as 30 below zero this morning, improving through the day.

Snow and blowing snow with near-blizzard conditions this morning will slowly improve this afternoon. West winds will gust to 35 mph. Another 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected today.

Tomorrow: Intermittent flurries and snow showers, especially early. Cold. High near 15F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 30%.
