Sheriff deputies respond to several weather-related incidents

Deputies from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office responded to traffic incidents Monday, many weather related. The activity report of the department from Jan. 6, 2014 includes:

– 1:45 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Stiles and Fountain roads, Victory Twp.

– 4:56 a.m.: Alarm activation, 1500 block of North Lakeshore Dr., Hamlin Twp.

– 5:51 a.m.: Car slid off road, 3800 block of West U.S. 10, Amber Twp.

– 7 a.m.: Vehicle in the ditch, Iris Road west of Pere Marquette Hwy., PM Hwy.

– 9 a.m.: Vehicle in the ditch, U.S. 10 and Darr Road, Custer Twp.

– 9:40 a.m.: Assist to Michigan State Police, injury crash, U.S. 10 east Scottville, Custer Twp.

– 10:12 a.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, Jebavy Dr. south of Decker Rd., Hamlin Twp.

– 11 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Hansen and Amber roads, Amber Twp.

– 1:27 p.m.: Vehicle in ditch, U.S. 10 and Tuttle Rd., Custer Twp.

– 2:16 p.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and PM Hwy., PM Twp.

– 2:33 p.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and Free Soil Rd., Grant Twp.
