LUDINGTON — Thousands of people rang in the new year in downtown Ludington Tuesday night, braving windchills near 0 degrees. The ball drop was followed by a spectacular fireworks show. “Tonight was an amazing night for our residents and visitors,” said Brandy Henderson, executive director of the Ludington Area Visitors and Convention Bureau. “We are so proud to host such a successful event that is free for families to enjoy. We want to thank everyone who came downtown and celebrated the kickoff of 2014 with us and wish everyone a happy new year.”
