Ludington man arrested following traffic stop

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 22-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies Wednesday for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop. The man was pulled over near the intersection of U.S. 10 and Nelson Road at 12:55 a.m. for traveling in excess of 15 mph over the speed limit (45 mph).

Other activity of the MCSO for Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 include:

– 2:32 a.m.: Threats complaint, 34th Street, Sheridan Twp.; case closed.

– 10:08 a.m.: Two vehicle broadside crash, no injuries, Sugar Grove and Amber roads, Victory Twp.

– 11:34 p.m.: Assist to Scottville Police Dept., 300 Evergreen St., suspicious situation.

– 12:43 p.m.: Identity theft complaint, North Cleveland St., Village of Fountain.
