Lake effect snow advisory continues until tonight

superior electric 250A lake effect snow advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. tonight. Motorists should use extreme caution. Lake effect snow showers were expected to become steadier and spread inland overnight and continue throughout the day. An additional 3 to 5 inches of snow is expected. Briefly higher snowfall rates, up to 1 inch per hour, are possible this morning.

Today: High temperature today of 29 degrees with a 90 percent chance of snow; low temperature tonight of 24 degrees with snow showers early. Wind: southwest at 10 mph.

Sunset: 5:10 p.m.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with high temperature of 31 degrees and low of 25 degrees. Wind: Southeast at 8 mph.
