Sheriff’s report from Nov. 20, 2013

The following is the activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office from Nov. 20, 2013:

6:32 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 west of U.S. 31, Amber Township.
11:30 a.m.: Found property, Meijer Store, U.S. 10-31, Amber Township.
3:54 p.m.: Retail fraud arrest, Wal-Mart, U.S. 10, Pere Marquette Township; 35-year-old Hart female charged with retail fraud. Subject is lodged in Mason County jail.
5:43 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Tuttle Road, Custer Township.
5:49 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Schoenherr Road, Custer Township.
6:11 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Scottville Road south of Meisenheimer Road, Eden Township.
6:59 p.m.: Traffic stop resulting in citation, Custer and Chauvez roads, Eden Township; 23-year-old Ludington male cited for driving while license suspended.
7:27 p.m.: Suspicious person, intoxicated, Washington and Bryant avenues, Pere Marquette Township. Subject transported home.
10:31 p.m.: Assist to LPD, Danaher Street, City of Ludington.
10:46 p.m.: Assist to Michigan State Police with arrest, 8300 block of North LaSalle Road, Grant Township. Deputy was injured during the booking process at the jail after the arrested subject became unruly and fought with deputies and state trooper. Deputy was treated at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for a knee injury and released.
