Diabetes and heart nutrition program

LUDINGTON — November is National Diabetes Month.  Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital’s Win with Wellness program and the Diabetes Self-Management Education Program are sponsoring a free wellness seminar on Tuesday, November 12 at 6 p.m. in the Ludington High School cafeteria.

Cardiovascular Dietitian Caren Rojas from Spectrum Health Hospital Group will give a presentation titled, “Nutritional Approaches for Diabetes and Heart Disease.”

A diabetes health fair will also be held during the event, which focuses on preventing diabetes and how to manage diabetes if diagnosed with it.
