Obituary: Charles ‘Butch’ Koeller, 71, of Branch.

Charles “Butch” Jacob Koeller, 71, of Branch passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday, October 26, 2020. In his younger years, Butch enjoyed racing his stock car. He loved hunting in the fall and if there was a good story to tell he had a great way of telling it. Butch had a love and passion for his pets and any living creature.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Corina; his children, Tonya, CJ, and Michelle; his grandchildren, Shelbi, Bryce, Ashlyn, Courtney, Paul, Zack, Lanson, Damien, Addie, Kayla, Freddie, Michaela, Gabby, and Isabella; his step-children, James, Junior, Michell,  and Samantha, his brothers, John and Robert; his sisters, Joan and Deb; his extended family, Lisa L., Missy, Aleesha, Aaron, Lisa S., Travis, Gordon, JoAnn V., Carl, and JoAnn K., Charlie and Ellouise, Nita, Karen, Jeff and Liz; his very special friends near and dear to him, Larry Hall and Randy Duggan; and his numerous nieces and nephews. Butch will be dearly missed by his dog, Jake, and cats, Fluffy and Scooter.

Besides his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his sisters, Pat Orantek and Karen Hunn, his brothers-in-law, Fred Hackett and Gene Cross.

The family would like to thank Victoria of Life EMS for the many trips to the house and the care that was given to Butch. She was extremely patient and understanding with Butch. The family would also like to thank the Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital ER and CCU units that worked so many different times with Butch. Everyone knew when Butch was in the house! Also a thank you to everyone from Northern Home Health Care for their services, they were welcomed into the family’s home as family and they did in return as well.

According to Butch’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held next spring at his home in Branch.
