Oakview limiting visiting hours.

LUDINGTON — As a precaution to concerns over the coronavirus (COVID-19) Oakview Medical Care Facility has restricted its visiting hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.

The visitor entrance to Sutter Living Center has been temporarily closed. There will be an employee stationed in the front lobby during visiting hours to assist in screening visitors for specific criteria to include: Contact with COVID in the last 14 days, international travel in the last 14 days, recent trips (last 14 days) on cruise ships or participated in other settings where crowds are confined to a common location, residence in community where COVID-19 spread is occurring, ill with respiratory illness; fever cough, sore throat or shortness of breath.
Visitors coming outside of the visiting hours will need to ring the door bell and wait for staff to allow entry and provide screening.
Visitor movement in the facility is being restricted to the resident’s rooms. Visitors are being asked to avoid walking the halls, avoiding going into dining room, participating in group activities, and congregating in sitting areas.
