Obituary: Andre Glen Alvesteffer, 20, Pentwater

Andre Glen Alvesteffer, 20, of Pentwater passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from a tragic construction zone accident. Andre was born August 2, 1998 in Muskegon to Darrel and Helen Alvesteffer. He graduated from Mason County Central in 2016 and had been employed with Gustafson Horizontal & Directional Drilling LLC.

Andre loved riding his dirt bike, hunting, and fishing with his dad and grandfather. He had a deep and profound passion for farming. Andre enjoyed spending time with his friends and with his only sibling and best friend, Aaron.

Andre will be greatly missed by his parents, Darrel and Helen Alvesteffer of Pentwater; his brother, Aaron Alvesteffer of Pentwater; his grandparents, Mike and Bonnie Villadsen of Pentwater and Mark and Phyllis (Alvesteffer) Seeback of Pentwater; his aunts and uncles, Dennis Alvesteffer, Doreen Alvesteffer, Devary (Lisa) Alvesteffer, Dean Alvesteffer, Daren (Melissa) Alvesteffer, and Lester (Jennifer) Villadsen, and many cousins and good friends, especially Matthew Lammi, Jake Pettis, and Nate Pleiness.

Andre was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glen Alvesteffer.

A funeral will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington. Family will greet friends beginning at 10 a.m. Andre will be laid to rest at Weare Cemetery.
