Arts center to feature Ossawald Crumb exhibit.

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Area Center for the Arts, 107 S. Harrison St., will celebrate its 10th year on Sunday, Sept. 16 with a special viewing of pieces of the original Ossawald Crumb, created by Robert Stearns, son of Justus Stearns. Stearns created the character as Ludington’s Paul Bunyan. The collection is on loan by Robert Gable, grandson of Robert Stearns.

The exhibit will be from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Ludington Area Arts Council opened the center in the former home of the United Methodist Church of Ludington, which moved to its present location on West Bryant Road in Pere Marquette Township.
