Scottville woman injured in Jebavy Dr. crash.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A 19-year-old Scottville woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Jebavy Drive. According to Dep. Ken Baum of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, a Chevrolet Impala, driven by the 19-year-old woman, was north on Jebavy Drive and rear-ended a Chevrolet Camaro, driven by a 63-year-old Ludington man. Dep. Baum said the driver of the Camaro stated that he was driving the speed limit, 45 mph, when his vehicle was rear-ended.

The female driver was taken by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver was uninjured. The crash was initially reported to 911 by the Camaro’s OnStar system.

Responding to the crash were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Hamlin Twp. Fire Department, Ludington Fire Dept. and Life EMS ambulance. The crash remains under investigation.
