PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 52-year-old Fountain man was arrested for driving with a suspended license following a three-car crash Monday afternoon. Two people were taken to the hospital following the crash at the intersection of U.S. 10 and Meyers Road Monday around 4:10 p.m.

According to a witness, the crash occurred when a west-bound Ford F-150, driven by a 39-year-old Branch woman, went through a red light. That vehicle struck a Ford Taurus driven by 52-year-old Fountain man. The driver of that vehicle said he was traveling north on Meyers Road, had stopped at the red light and then proceeded when the light turned green. He said he was then struck by the pickup. Incidentally, he was arrested and charged with DWLS.

The pickup then struck a southbound Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by a 21-year-old Ludington woman.

The driver of the pickup and her 10-year-old daughter were transported by Life EMS ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital.

Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, Pere Marquette Twp. Fire Dept., Ludington Fire Dept. and Life EMS.

No other information was available.
