Talent Connect Ludington event May 9

LUDINGTON — Talent Connect Ludington will hold its second event on Friday, May 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Mitten Bar and Barley and Rye in downtown Ludington. The purpose of the event to for those who have relocated to see what career options there are in Mason County. Representatives from local companies and industries will be on hand to network.

The event is being organized by the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce and West Shore Community College Business Opportunity Center. It is based on Pure Michigan Talent Connect, a statewide effort to bring people back to Michigan.

The first event was held in December.

While this is not a job fair, attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes or email them in advance to talentconnectludington@gmail.com. Attendees will have a chance to win an Apple iPad Mini.

Event sponsors include DTE Energy, West Shore Bank and Wildwood Meadows.
