LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Howell

Jonah Thomas Howell, 23, of 2171 N. Reek Rd., Custer, was found guilty Feb. 8 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced March 22 to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Two counts of fourth-degree fleeing police were dismissed,

Scott David Alexander, 60, of 2233 N. Sherman Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Sept, 2, 2020 of third-offense operating while intoxicated and received an amended sentence March 22, 2022 of two to five years in prison with credit for 380 days served in jail; probation revoked; and $526.50

in restitution. In a separate case, Alexander was found guilty Feb. 1, 2022 of domestic violence and was sentenced March 22, 2022 to one year in jail with credit for 86 days served and $258 in fines and costs. The sentences run concurrently.

Avra

Jessy Lee Avra, 46, of 5707 Barton St., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 8 of third-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 90 days served; three years probation; and $1,073 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended was dismissed.

Christina Lynn Barton, 59, of 407 E. Third St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 5, 2021 of possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced March 22, 2022 to 15 days in jail with credit for 15 days served; one year probation; and $458 in fines and costs.

Tatyana Alazey Dukes, 21, of 1103 Barnes Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty Feb. 1, 2022 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and second-offense habitual offender

and was sentenced March 22, 2022 to five months in jail with credit for 123 days served; two years probation; and $458 in fines and costs.

Richard Thomas Kovar, 60, of 215 Sixth St., Manistee, was found guilty Feb. 8, 2022 of second-offense drug possession and was sentenced March 22, 2022 to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs.
