Free summer meals for kids have begun. The program is countywide and presented by all three public schools. Today, Kate Krieger-Watkins speaks with Mason County Central Food Service Director Mary Ann Nielsen about the program.

More information is posted below:

Ludington Area Schools, Mason County Central Schools, and Mason County Eastern Schools will be offering summer meal programs for children ages 18 and younger again following the end of the school year. Meals are free and non-income based, serving both breakfast and lunch. No sign up is needed. All meals are to be picked up either by drive-up or walk-up. MCC will serve June 14-Aug. 15.
