Attempted felony sexual assault tops district court news.

The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:



-Dylan Todd Sorensen, 25, of 3875 N. US 31, Victory Township, was arrested Oct. 25 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on felony charges of assault with intent to commit sexual penetration, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, and domestic violence. Probable cause hearing: Nov. 4 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $10,000/10 percent.


-Joseph Paul Wildbahn, 55, of 2468 S. Peacock Trl., Baldwin; Oct. 27; Department of Natural Resources (DNR); operating a charter boat without a certificate of inspection/no license. Pretrial: Nov. 16 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Renee Alleatrice Speelman, 58, of 306 E. Butler St., Bryan, OH; Oct. 25; attempted assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer. Pretrial: Nov. 2 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.


-Troy Albert Williamson, 51, of 207 N. Harrison St., Ludington, had a charge of assault and battery dismissed on Oct. 13 as part of a plea agreement.
