Woman arrested for slashing tires, violating bond.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP – A 23-year-old Ludington woman was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday, May 28, shortly before 4 a.m. after she allegedly slashed two tires on a vehicle while out of jail on bond in the 5600 block of West Johnson Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Deputies arrived following a call of an “unwanted person” and found the suspect with a knife and a cut on her hand hiding in a bedroom, Cole said. She cut her hand while allegedly slashing the tires.

– 12:31 p.m., (MCSO), hit-and-run crash, no injury, 4900 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 3:31 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 23-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two bench warrants from the 79th District Court, 100 East Filer Street, City of Ludington.

– 3:42 p.m., (LPD), a 26-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving with an expired license, 200 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 5:45 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 north of US 10, Amber Township.

– 6:07 p.m., (Michigan State Police), shots fired, 1500 block of North Dennis Road, Amber Township.

– 10:09 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Conrad Road, Amber Township.
