CITY OF SCOTTVILLE

Scottville City Commission Ward 1 appointment. 

The City of Scottville is currently accepting letters of interest for the purpose of filling a Ward 1 City Commission seat.  Ward 1 is defined as anyone living west of Main Street. The successful candidate will be appointed to the City Commission until the next regular City election held on November 3, 2020.

The successful applicant must be a resident of the City of Scottville for at least one year immediately preceding their appointment to office. The successful applicant must also be a qualified and registered voter of the City of Scottville prior to their appointment and throughout their tenure in office.

Interested persons must submit a Letter of Interest to the City Manager at Scottville City Hall, 105 North Main Street, Scottville, MI 49454. Letters of Interest will be received until such time an appointment is made. The appointment shall be made no later than Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Regular Commission meeting that starts at 5:30pm.  For further information you may contact the City offices at 231-757-4729.
