Obituary: Dr. Jerry Gilley, 67, Scottville.

Dr. Jerry W. Gilley passed away December 10, 2018 after a brief illness. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, and he was known for his sense of humor and passion. He was born October 26, 1951.

Dr. Gilley enjoyed a successful career as a consultant, author, professor, and mentor. He had a love of golf, the St. Louis Cardinals, college football, fun cars, and animals.

Jerry was met on the other side by his father, Bert, mother, Lottie, and beloved pets, Lakota Sioux and Pepper Lee.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Ann; his daughters, Melissa and Shannon; his son, Michael; his sister, Gayle; his brother, Gary; his mother-in-law, Connie Maycunich; and his nieces, nephews, and five grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held in June of 2019.
