Habitat to host financial workshops. 

LUDINGTON — Habitat for Humanity of Mason County will be presenting three upcoming workshops as part of its ongoing series of financial education workshops.

The workshops are designed to equip participants with proactive, practical strategies to get them where they want to be financially.  The objective is to help participants visualize a brighter future and realize that their current financial difficulties do not have to be permanent.  

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. The workshops are presented in partnership with Chemical Bank, Fifth Third Bank, and West Shore Bank. The workshops will be held at Lakeshore Resource Network, 920 E. Tinkham Ave.

• Wednesday, Oct. 17, noon to 1 p.m.: Credit Building Workshop sponsored by Chemical Bank
• Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m: Home Buyer Education Workshop sponsored by Fifth Third Bank
• Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, noon to 1 p.m.: Budgeting Workshop sponsored by West Shore Bank
• Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.: Savings Workshop.
