Crash closes Scottville Rd. temporarily.

AMBER TWP. — A two vehicle crash temporarily closed Scottville Road at the US 31 bypass Wednesday morning. The crash occurred when a southbound Jeep Nitro, driven by a 60-year-old Bear Lake woman attempted to make a left-hand turn into Scottville Road from US 31 and collided with a northbound Jeep Laredo, driven by a 37-year-old Free Soil Township woman. Neither of the drivers were seriously injured nor was the Nitro driver’s 45-year-old passenger.

Responding were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Scottville Police Dept., Scottville Fire Dept., and Life EMS.
