79th District Court dismissals, posted Nov. 8, 2017.

LUDINGTON — The following cases were recently dismissed  in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Rebekah Lou Malburg, 31, of 1150 Brandy Lane, Lot 68B, Pere Marquette Township, had a charge of possession of synthetic marijuana dismissed on October 24 per a plea agreement.

-Beatrice Hernandez, 51, of 6612 W. Linden Rd., Hamlin Township, had a charge of operating a vehicle without insurance dismissed on October 24 after pleading guilty to a separate charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

-Dominic Daniel Forseman, 23, of 188 Lincoln St., Manistee, had a charge of operating a vehicle without insurance dismissed on October 24 after pleading guilty to a companion charge.

-Sharilyn Taylor Munn, 23, of 330 Page St. NE, Grand Rapids, had a charge of breaking and entering dismissed on November 1 after her co-defendant accepted responsibility for the crime.

-John Wayne Mulligan, 26, of 6117 ½ E. US 10, Branch Township, had a charge of operating a vehicle without insurance dismissed on November 3 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.

-Cody Morgan Denton, 22, of 2630 N. Sherman Rd., Hamlin Township, had charges of operating with a suspended license and transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle dismissed on October 25 per a plea agreement.

-Jeffery Allen Keller, Jr., 28, of 6586 W. Dewey Rd., Hamlin Township, had a charge of operating a vehicle without insurance dismissed on October 3 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.

-Luke Michael Samuels, 27, of 721 E. Johnson Rd., Custer Township, had a charge of domestic violence dismissed on November 1. According to court records, “The People cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt defendant was not acting in self-defense.”

-Wanda Elizabeth Stewart, 38, of 9553 N. Stephens Rd., Free Soil Township, had two counts of non-sufficient checks less than $100 dismissed on November 1 after agreeing to pay restitution in full to the victim.
