Victim dragged by vehicle, warrant sought for suspect.

SCOTTVILLE — A warrant is being sought for a 44-year-old Branch man on charges of unarmed robbery and domestic assault after allegedly dragging a victim with his vehicle Sunday night, July 16, while fleeing the scene in the 400 block of East State Street, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“The victim and witnesses (neighbors) allege the suspect stole the victim’s cell phone following a reported assault where the victim was dragged by the suspect/vehicle as he fled the scene,” Cole said.
“The suspect was gone upon arrival of deputies,” the sheriff said. A 911 call was made from the residence shortly after 11 p.m.
