Seasonal weight and speed restrictions lifted April 3.

SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County Road Commission has announced that seasonal weight and speed restrictions will be lifted beginning at 7 a.m. on April 3.

All county roads have been restricted since February 15, which meant reducing the maximum axel load by 35% per axle and truck speeds to 35 mph. Weight and speed restrictions are enforced to minimize damage caused during the thawing period.
