mud_bawg_3AMBER TWP. — MCP reader Chad Nelson of Scottville submitted some photos of the Dawg Haus Benefit Mud Run being held Saturday near the corner of U.S. 31 and Hansen Road. This year’s mud run is benefiting Jimmy Leclaire, who has cerebral palsy. Leclaire was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was 11-months-old. He had surgery when he was 4 to help him utilize his legs. Now an adult, he must still use crutches and a wheelchair. The mud run’s proceeds will go towards buying a golf cart for Leclaire. Nelson said about 500 people were in attendance.
