Scottville Optimists host district meeting

SCOTTVILLE —  The Scottville Optimist Club hosted a district meeting Saturday for the Michigan District Optimist International with representatives from many Michigan clubs.

Dave Fries, governor of Michigan Optimist International was also in attendance.

“Meetings such as this help fellow clubs develop programs, communicate and facilitate the mission of youth and community support,” said Scottville Optimist President Scott Shoup.

The Scottville club received a service award for support of youth and community.
