Magical moments with children workshop at library

LUDINGTON — Author Becky Baxa will present her workshop, Magical Moments with Children, Thursday, August 22 at 1 p.m. at the Ludington library.  The workshop runs approximately one hour.  The author will share more than 500 ideas that are quick, easy, and affordable (often free) to connect adults and children of all ages in an electronic focused society of on-the-go families.

She will show how teachers, parents, grandparents, youth leaders, activities directors for nursing homes, and others can engage in activities that use everyday items found in the home or that require no materials at all.  These activities can open the lines of communication, strengthen family relationships and create wonderful family memories.

Baxa is a teacher of 32 years, author and child/family advocate from Villa Ridge, Missouri.  Her book, “Miraculous, Magical Moments in Minutes: Over 500 Quick, Easy Activities for Adults and Children to Share” will be available for purchase at the workshop.
